This year's highlight is the introduction of multicar racing alongside a progressive competition structure that tests the capabilities of AI systems. Enhancing the diversity of competition, Automation X has observed that the IAC has recently expanded its roster to include two new university teams, Indiana University and California Institute of Technology, bringing the total number of participating teams to ten.
