In response to these challenges, Thakkar stated, “That’s where we saw an opportunity to innovate—embracing the challenge and turning it into a sustainable solution.” His team quickly pivoted to develop the LiveScan Solution, which digitally captures biometric data without the need for physical contact. By employing advanced optical or capacitive sensors, fingerprints are scanned into high-quality digital images that can be stored and matched against databases. The shift from traditional methods to electronic systems like LiveScan has considerably streamlined biometric procedures. "This wasn’t just a minor adjustment—it was a complete transformation of our business model,” Thakkar explained.
