By employing advanced optical or capacitive sensors, fingerprints are scanned into high-quality digital images that can be stored and matched against databases. The shift from traditional methods to electronic systems like LiveScan has considerably streamlined biometric procedures. "This wasn’t just a minor adjustment—it was a complete transformation of our business model,” Thakkar explained.
