Data Dynamics Unveils Self-Service AI Software ‘Zubin’ to Revolutionize Data Management and Governance

Data Dynamics, a prominent player in unstructured data management solutions, has officially launched a groundbreaking AI-powered self-service software named Zubin. Designed to help businesses refine their risk management, privacy, data sovereignty, and sustainability strategies, Zubin emerges at a time when organizations worldwide are navigating the increasingly complex digital landscape.

Zubin’s launch is rooted in key principles of digital trust and data democracy. It significantly empowers data creators by providing them full ownership and control over their data processes. Encouraging a “data democracy by design” approach through a Do It Yourself (DIY) framework, Zubin allows users to discover, define, transform, and audit data seamlessly via a self-service, low-code interface.

The timing of Zubin's introduction is critical. Organizations are currently dealing with the multifaceted challenges of data sovereignty, ethical AI, and data privacy. The software aims to simplify these challenges by facilitating digital trust and reinforcing the principles of data democracy.

An important backdrop to Zubin’s capabilities is a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) which suggests that AI could contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030. Given that 80% of enterprise data is unstructured and unmanaged, the report underscores the growing demand for precise AI modeling and highlights significant challenges organizations face in managing their data streams.

Zubin tackles these challenges head-on by balancing regulatory obligations, customer expectations, and the need for innovation. With its centralized data governance system coupled with decentralized data control, Zubin ensures a seamless framework that fosters accountability, coherence, and effective data management across the enterprise.

The importance of such a solution was highlighted during a recent roundtable hosted by Data Dynamics in conjunction with the US Consulate in Mumbai. Leading business figures underscored the critical need for robust data privacy and sovereignty measures, especially in the backdrop of rapid AI technological advancements.

Zubin strengthens organizational workflows by suggesting optimal processes, offering in-depth insights, automating tasks, and enforcing security through role-based access control. It enhances standardization while maintaining data security and control at the individual level.

Piyush Mehta, CEO of Data Dynamics, commented, “At Data Dynamics, we approach data with the highest level of respect – ensuring that every byte is managed responsibly and that ownership is returned to those who create it.” He added, “Zubin embodies this philosophy. It fosters a culture of ownership and accountability, placing the power of data management directly in the hands of users. Zubin is THE strategic enabler of digital trust, data sovereignty, and data democracy, guiding organizations through the complexities of this AI age with confidence and clarity.”

Mehta emphasises the essential role of transparency in data management within today’s AI-driven landscape, stating that it is crucial for building digital trust between businesses and their customers.

Founded in 2012, Data Dynamics serves over 300 global customers, including 25% of the Fortune 20 across various sectors such as healthcare, banking, government, and manufacturing. The New Jersey-based company has recently expanded its footprint in India by launching a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Pune, which will operate as the regional headquarters. This new establishment is geared towards driving innovation in data management and enhancing product development initiatives.

Data Dynamics is also set to expand its team, with plans to recruit programmers, AI architects, and data engineers focused on advancing Zubin and its associated product line.

In related developments, other prominent names in the tech industry are also making strides in AI. Salesforce has debuted Einstein Service Agent, an autonomous AI initiative, while Squirro introduced the first enterprise-ready self-service generative AI application for organisational data. Additionally, Cisco has unlocked new AI-powered intelligence for self-hosted observability.

Together, these advancements signify a profound shift in how data and AI technologies are shaping the future of business operations and strategic management.
