The focus was on the evolution of GIGABYTE AI TOP, highlighting comprehensive and efficient AI capabilities integrated into both software and hardware.

The company took the opportunity to unveil its latest innovations, including the Intel Z890 and AMD X870 series motherboards, designed to deliver superior performance with AI technology.

A highlight of the event was the introduction of the AI TOP 2.0 utility. This updated tool simplifies AI learning processes with substantial support for Large Multimodal Models (LMMs). The workflow is designed to guide users through model selection via RAG Check, dataset creation, fine-tuning, and validation within applications. By supporting leading LMMs, users can train or refine a model using a mix of text, image, and video data, enhancing the AI model's ability to generate images or short videos beyond textual content.

Supporting the AI software are optimized hardware components such as SSDs, PSUs, and chassis, which are engineered for energy efficiency, durability, and heat dissipation, crucial for handling the demanding loads of AI training. GIGABYTE also announced AI TOP 100 and AI TOP 500 installation kits, which are pre-built systems aimed at both beginners and professionals, offering flexibility and scalability. These kits are expected to be available by the fourth quarter of 2024.

In a significant addition to their product lineup, GIGABYTE revealed the AORUS Z890 series motherboards. These are engineered for the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, incorporating D5 Bionic Corsa technology that enables AI-optimised overclocking for maximum DDR5 memory performance. Furthering their offerings, the X870 and X870E AORUS motherboards boast superior VRM design, tailored to maximise the capabilities of AMD Ryzen™ X3D Series processors.

The newly introduced motherboards include the Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP, Z890 AORUS MASTER AI TOP, and X870E AORUS XTREME AI TOP. These AI TOP motherboards are not only aligned for compatibility with the AI TOP utility, but they are also optimised for dual-GPU setups and feature the cutting-edge Thunderbolt 5 technology, enhancing local AI learning capabilities.
