Zoovu, a prominent player in the artificial intelligence (AI) search and product discovery sector, has announced its integration into the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. This development is set to make Zoovu's innovative product discovery experiences accessible to a broader audience of Azure customers, enhancing personalised e-commerce experiences with impressive speed and scalability.

Central to this integration is Zoovu's generative AI-powered product advisor, Zoe. Zoe is designed to assist shoppers in locating products that meet their specific needs through a guided, conversational process that involves answering a series of simple questions. This AI tool then generates personalised product recommendations, explaining the rationale behind each suggestion. Furthermore, Zoe provides consumers the opportunity to engage interactively, allowing them to ask an unlimited array of questions and receive real-time, detailed responses about the products.

Zoe has already been put to effective use within Microsoft's 'Help Me Choose' feature, aimed at assisting customers in selecting the most suitable laptops. The feature is utilised across various major retail platforms, including Best Buy, Currys, MediaMarkt, Officeworks, and Sharaf DG, demonstrating Zoe's versatile application both online and in brick-and-mortar stores.

Jake Zborowski, the General Manager of the Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corporation, expressed satisfaction with this new collaboration, stating, "We’re pleased to welcome Zoovu to the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Azure Marketplace offers first-class experiences from globally trusted partners whose solutions are verified to integrate smoothly with Azure." This partnership is seen as a strategical alignment that enhances cloud offerings and expands Azure's ecosystem.

The launch on Azure Marketplace is indicative of Zoovu’s ongoing commitment to optimizing the product discovery journey for consumers worldwide. James Novak, CEO of Zoovu, highlighted a common challenge in e-commerce: while enterprises spend substantial resources to drive traffic to their sites, conversion rates remain low at around 3%. Novak emphasised that information overload often hampers consumers from finding products tailored to their needs. By leveraging AI-driven personalised experiences, Zoovu aims not only to enhance conversion rates but also to foster long-term customer loyalty. He remarked that the inclusion in the Azure Marketplace is a significant milestone in Zoovu’s mission to revolutionise how consumers interact with and discover products.

This strategic collaboration is poised to benefit a wide range of e-commerce businesses by providing them with advanced tools to refine consumer engagement, ultimately leading to improved customer acquisition and retention outcomes.
