Horizon Protocol has introduced a pioneering AI-powered trading experience with its first suite of exclusive strategies and insights for decentralised perpetual futures trading. This development signifies a significant advancement in the trading landscape, harnessing artificial intelligence to boost trading efficiency and profitability. The launch is made possible through a collaboration with Phoenix’s AlphaNet, which provides advanced institutional-grade trading signals and market indicators created using AI and deep learning algorithms.
This technological venture has been integrated into Horizon Protocol’s Perpetual Futures platform, offering traders cutting-edge AI strategies designed to enhance their trading outcomes. The initial phase of the launch includes three AI-enabled trading signals and indicators: ViperAI, WaveML, and Minima/Maxima.
ViperAI is presented as the flagship full trading strategy from AlphaNet. It is an AI-driven signal system designed to maximise traders' profits by accurately predicting directional market momentum. The system is capable of functioning effectively in any market condition, offering long/short market-neutral signals. Users receive entry and exit alerts in real-time, complemented by built-in stop-loss features, enabling efficient trade management on the Horizon Perpetual Futures platform.
WaveML, another component of the initiative, assists traders in identifying market inefficiencies. This tool is based on the principle that market prices sometimes do not reflect all available information, thereby creating potential 'waves' – opportunities for traders to capitalise on mispricing.
Minima/Maxima serves as an indicator that spots high and low points in market price activity, helping traders predict temporary price peaks (resistance) and valleys (support) using real-time data from exchanges. This tool aims to aid scalping strategies by delivering timely information on price movements.
The integration of these AI-enhanced strategies not only empowers traders with more sophisticated tools but also lays the groundwork for the eventual implementation of fully automated AI-driven trading systems on the platform. Horizon Protocol is also planning to expand its offerings in the future, exploring options such as automated AI trading, copy trading, an off-chain notification system, one-click strategy executions like arbitrage and hedging, and cross-chain deployments through CCIP. Additionally, they are considering the development of a mobile application to enhance user accessibility.
The Horizon Protocol platform operates with an inflation policy that rewards contributors within its ecosystem, such as collateral and liquidity providers. This policy is structured to encourage the provision of collateral and liquidity necessary for the support of synthetic assets, known as zAssets, which are tied to real-world assets via price oracles. Transaction fees on the platform range from 0.25% to 0.50%, providing incentives for those who stake HZN tokens and participate in liquidity pools (LPs).
By integrating AI and maintaining a strategic incentive structure, Horizon Protocol aims to stimulate growth in the initial stages of its developmental trajectory, with the intention of maximising benefits for its user base. As it progresses, the platform remains open to changes influenced by community feedback and market developments, indicating a flexible approach towards future innovations.
