i-PRO Co., a leading provider in advanced security camera solutions, has expanded its Aero PTZ line with the introduction of 19 new models that boast enhanced durability and cutting-edge AI processing capabilities. These developments are meticulously designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions while delivering high-quality surveillance.

The newly released Aero PTZ cameras are specifically engineered to function effectively in extreme weather scenarios, supporting up to 4K resolution to provide clear and precise imaging. One of the standout features is the integration of AI-driven analytics, a leap forward in automatic tracking capabilities that enhances the camera's ability to maintain focus and capture crucial activities in challenging environments.

Gerard Figols, Chief Product Officer at i-PRO, stated, "The combination of extreme weather resistance and advanced AI-based analytics sets this PTZ apart. This model provides reliable and analytic power, even in mission-critical environments exposed to severe conditions like hurricanes and cyclones."

The Aero PTZ models offer an extraordinary zoom capability of up to 40x and are shock-resistant and waterproof, meeting the IK10, MIL-STD-167-1A, and IP66/68 standards. In addition, these cameras are designed to withstand heavy salt corrosion (C5-M) and can operate efficiently in fluctuating temperatures ranging from -50°C to 65°C (-58°F to 149°F). The inclusion of a newly developed transparent glass heater adds to its robust operation across the temperature spectrum. The Aero PTZ cameras are equipped to endure winds up to 270 km/h (168 mph), surpassing the wind speed limits of a category five cyclone on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

Another notable attribute of these cameras is their AI-based auto-tracking feature, which ensures people and vehicles remain in focus under any lighting condition, extending visibility up to 560 meters (1,837 feet) with infrared (IR) illumination. This capability makes it one of the best in its class for nighttime surveillance, supported by a white light illumination option to deter intruders and preserve colour information when needed.

The cameras take advantage of i-PRO’s open AI development platform, enabling the installation of multiple AI applications tailored to the user's operational environment. This includes accommodating third-party applications, offering users a diverse array of customized solutions. On the 4K model, up to three simultaneous AI applications can be deployed, while the 2MP models support two simultaneous AI applications.

Cybersecurity is another critical focus of the Aero PTZ cameras. The models are fortified with signed firmware, brute-force protection, and FIPS 140-2 level 3 compliance through a secure element chip, ensuring robust defence against potential cyber threats. This comprehensive approach underscores i-PRO’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technological solutions and secure, reliable video protection for high-stakes environments.
