Nooks Launches AI Sales Assistant Platform Following $43 Million Series B Funding

Nooks, a leader in AI-driven sales automation, has announced the release of its latest innovation, the AI Sales Assistant Platform (ASAP). This significant development follows the successful acquisition of $43 million in Series B funding. The funding round was spearheaded by the renowned venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, with additional investment from Lachy Groom and Tola Capital. This latest funding drive brings Nooks' total investment haul to $70 million.

The United States alone has approximately 3 million inside sales representatives, many of whom grapple with juggling routine, low-leverage tasks alongside strategic sales efforts. Recognising this challenge, Nooks is positioning its ASAP to transform the sales landscape. The platform is designed to automate repetitive tasks such as online research, email prospecting, and contact dialing. By doing so, it allows sales representatives to redirect their focus towards high-value tasks that spur pipeline growth.

A Human-Centric Approach to AI

Nooks' CEO, Dan Lee, underscored the company's human-centric AI approach by stating, "We believe sales is fundamentally human, and AI will empower reps—not replace them." ASAP aims to streamline the pipeline generation process, significantly enhancing the output of sales teams—potentially doubling or even tripling it—within days of being implemented.

Capabilities of the AI Sales Assistant Platform

The AI Sales Assistant Platform is equipped with several AI-driven functions designed to increase sales efficiency:

  1. AI Dialing Assistant: This feature automates phone-based research tasks, bypasses answering machines, automates voicemail, and determines optimal times for calls. As a result, it can boost call volumes and improve the rate of meaningful conversations by two to three times.

  2. AI Coaching Assistant: This assistant transcribes and scores calls, offers simulation of prospect dialogs, and supports collaborative training and functioning in a Virtual Salesfloor setting.

  3. AI Prospect Assistant: Designed to drastically cut down the time spent on research, this function builds prospect lists, pinpoints buying signals, and drafts emails automatically.

The platform boasts seamless integration with popular sales tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, HubSpot, Salesforce, and various data management tools, promising rapid returns on investment for sales organisations.

Achieving Market Traction and Growth

Since announcing a $22 million Series A funding round in April, Nooks has witnessed a quadrupling of its revenue on a year-over-year basis. Esteemed companies like Seismic, Fivetran, Amplitude, Modern Health, and Verkada have adopted the Nooks platform, attributing over 70% of their sales pipelines to it.

Mamoon Hamid, a Partner at Kleiner Perkins, pointed out the transformative effect of Nooks, stating, "Nooks is bringing AI to sales in a human way, empowering thousands of reps." Alyson Watson, CEO of Modern Health, also highlighted the platform's significant impact on her organisation, noting the substantial contribution of Nooks to their sales pipeline.

With the launch of its AI Sales Assistant Platform and the backing of significant new funding, Nooks is poised to further enhance the productivity and efficiency of sales teams across the US, reinforcing its status as a pivotal player in AI-driven sales automation.
