BOSTON – In a significant development within the realm of media asset management, Axle AI has introduced three comprehensive bundles that incorporate Apple's latest Mac mini M4 hardware. These offerings cater to businesses seeking robust, on-premise solutions for video content management.

The distinguishing feature of Axle AI's media management system is its ability to operate fully automatically without relying on cloud services. This system ensures that video content is stored and managed locally, within the same network as editing workstations and NAS storage, thereby addressing security concerns related to cloud storage and processing. The system is designed to seamlessly integrate with various video editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve, with additional support available for Avid Media Composer through an optional module.

Scheduled for release on November 8th, the bundles are anticipated to attract businesses prioritising data privacy and budget predictability. One of Axle AI's core propositions is the localised processing of data, which eliminates the risk of cloud-based data exposure and the associated costs. By maintaining training and metadata within the on-premise system, clients are assured of privacy while benefiting from cost-effective operations. Traditional per-hour cloud processing fees, which can surpass $10 per hour, are replaced by a one-time purchase model, offering a more stable financial forecast for companies.

The Axle Mac mini M4 bundle is priced at $5,995 and consists of the Axle software paired with the Mac mini M4 featuring 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 10GigE network. A more advanced version, the Axle Mac mini M4 Pro bundle, is available for $6,995. This package also includes the Axle software but enhances performance with a Mac mini M4 Pro, boasting 64GB RAM alongside the same storage and network specifications. The most comprehensive option, the Axle Mac mini M4 Pro-Nvidia bundle, includes additional horsepower with a price tag of $8,995. It offers the combined performance of a Mac mini M4 Pro and an HP Victus 15L tower system equipped with an Nvidia 4060 GPU, 8GB VRAM, Intel i7, 32GB RAM, and 512GB SSD hardware. This bundle also comes with a 30-day licence for Axle Tags AI engines, providing further capabilities to users.

These bundles highlight Axle AI's strategic move to address industry concerns regarding cloud data security while delivering high-calibre, cost-effective media asset management solutions. Their approach aligns with the growing demand for localised data management, particularly in sectors where privacy and control over media content are paramount.
