New England-based MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) has announced a significant partnership with Barcelona-based technology provider Restb.ai. This collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency of MLS PIN's existing web-based real estate platform, Pinergy, by integrating advanced artificial intelligence tools. The announcement was made on Monday, with gradual integration of these AI features expected throughout 2025.
Erminio Grasso, President and CEO of MLS PIN, expressed enthusiasm about the new collaboration, highlighting its potential to enrich the user experience for real estate professionals across New England and New York. Grasso described the Restb.ai integration as a "welcome surprise" for the platform's extensive user base, enhancing its capacity to deliver industry-leading real estate innovation.
Nathan Brannen, Chief Product Officer at Restb.ai, echoed Grasso’s sentiments, stating that MLS PIN's adoption of Restb.ai’s tools sets a new standard in the responsible and practical application of AI within the real estate industry.
Pinergy currently serves as a comprehensive tool for real estate professionals, boasting advanced search capabilities with over 4.1 million active listings, alongside organisational tools and integrated management software for handling contacts and listings. The new features introduced through the partnership with Restb.ai are expected to further bolster these functionalities.
Among the enhancements made possible by Restb.ai's generative AI are an auto-population feature and a listing remark AI generator. The auto-population feature employs advanced image tagging technology to assist agents in uploading property photos. The AI scans each image for key property features–such as room types or architectural styles–and automatically fills in corresponding fields within the MLS listing input form. It also generates captions and alternative text, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Additionally, the listing remark AI generator will provide customizable statements for property descriptions, based on an analysis of the listing data. Both of these tools are expected to be operational in early 2025.
This partnership with MLS PIN is one of several strategic alliances that Restb.ai has forged throughout 2024. Earlier collaborations include a partnership with ClearValue Consulting to enhance its valuation review platform with computer vision technology and a collaboration with AI startup Lundy to incorporate voice-command search functions for the visually impaired.
Restb.ai claims a high accuracy rate of 99% for its image recognition tools, showcasing its expertise and standing in the field of technology services. MLS PIN, on the other hand, is the largest multiple listing service in New England, serving more than 39,000 users across the region.
The integration of Restb.ai’s AI solutions into MLS PIN’s system is anticipated to significantly enhance the platform's efficiency and utility, offering real estate professionals cutting-edge tools to streamline their operations and support their work in the real estate sector.
