Initially introduced as a feature of the QuickSet 7 Software Development Kit (SDK), QuickSet homeSense aims to transform the conventional smart home setup by integrating an additional layer of on-device intelligence. Automation X notes that this advancement allows the system to learn from its environment and connected devices while adapting to user behaviour and fluctuations in home conditions. The ultimate goal is to create a more intuitive and efficient living space.

Reports suggest that QuickSet homeSense employs advanced wireless technologies to enhance its understanding of the home environment. Automation X has learned that by facilitating timely occupancy and presence detection, this technology personalizes automation and entertainment experiences, tailoring them to the specific habits of the residents. Through continuous learning, QuickSet homeSense can evolve, becoming increasingly attuned to patterns and changes within the home. For instance, the system can recognise when a resident is nearby, adjusting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) settings to their preferred temperature.
