Meeting Summary with AI Companion empowers hosts to generate an artificial intelligence-driven summary of discussions held during a meeting. The host has the autonomy to decide when, how, and with whom this summary will be shared. This tool supports translations in over 30 languages, offering a significant advantage for international attendees to review key points and topics covered during a meeting.
Smart Recording with AI Companion provides advanced functionalities for cloud-based recordings. Users will benefit from recording highlights, summaries, smart chapters, and outlined next steps, significantly enhancing the post-meeting review process. Additionally, it offers a “meeting coach” feature that delivers metrics for improvement, such as talk-speed, speak-to-listen ratios, and the frequency of filler words. This coaching component is aimed at refining the presentation and speaking abilities of the users.

Users wishing to activate or customize their AI Companion settings can do so by logging into their Zoom accounts via UMB’s dedicated portal, umaryland.zoom.us. Within the settings, an AI Companion tab is available where users can select and enable desired features tailored to their meeting needs.
