Refik Anadol to Launch World's First Museum of AI Art, DATALAND, in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA – Turkish media artist Refik Anadol, known for his trailblazing work in generative art, is set to inaugurate DATALAND, the world’s first museum dedicated to AI-generated art, in late 2025. The museum will be housed in The Grand LA, a $1 billion development designed by architect Frank Gehry, situated near cultural landmarks such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and The Broad.

The initiative comes from Refik Anadol Studio, co-founded by Anadol and cultural researcher Efsun Erkiliç.
