The game utilised machine learning by applying voice-recognition software in multiple languages, which enabled the automatic synchronisation of subtitles with character dialogues. This innovation has notably expedited the subtitling process, reducing the time required to deliver localised versions of the game.

In addition to AI and machine learning, Sony is developing its Volumetric Capture Studio. This facility aims to generate 3D data from people and locations, which can then be used to render high-quality images.
