Detroit-based Waymark, a company specialising in artificial intelligence video creation technology, has announced the introduction of a new feature named "Variations" to its platform. This innovative capability allows users to generate video advertisements in multiple lengths and aspect ratios with a single click, ensuring these ads maintain a consistent look and feel across all devices and platforms.

The launch of Variations enhances Waymark’s AI-driven video platform, designed to enable content creators to produce high-quality commercials for local businesses within a mere five minutes. The addition of Variations allows these creators to adapt their original Waymark videos into multiple durations, including 30, 15, and 5-second clips. Furthermore, the technology supports a diversity of format options such as 16x9 and 4x5 aspect ratios. This addition facilitates the creation of comprehensive "omnichannel" video campaigns, enhancing the visibility and reach for businesses across different media outlets.

Waymark CEO Alex Persky-Stern expressed enthusiasm about the new development, stating, "As we rolled out our video ad platform over the last two years, we’ve consistently engaged with our partners to understand their evolving needs. A common requirement has been the ability to generate high-quality ads suitable for every platform. Our team has worked diligently to meet this requirement, and we are excited to launch the Variations technology, which we believe will be a major asset for our partners."

Waymark has made substantial strides since launching its video ad platform the previous year, forming partnerships with major media companies across various regions. Among these are Spectrum Reach, FOX, Scripps, Gray, Beasley Media Group, Nine Australia, and National World plc, a significant newspaper publisher in the UK. Furthermore, the company expanded its reach by collaborating with prominent streaming platforms Paramount+ and Pluto TV earlier this year to launch the new Paramount Ads Manager platform. Additionally, Waymark joined Comcast NBCUniversal’s LIFT Labs Vertical AI Accelerator programme, which supports AI innovation.

The rollout of the Variations feature signals a significant step forward for Waymark as it continues to enhance its offerings, providing advanced, user-friendly solutions that cater to the diverse advertising needs of businesses in today’s digital landscape. The company’s growing list of partnerships reflects its strategic positioning and influence in the media and advertising sectors, indicating a positive trajectory for its future endeavours in AI technology.
