Meta enhances WhatsApp AI chatbot with chat memory feature

Meta is set to improve its WhatsApp AI chatbot by introducing a new chat memory feature, allowing for more personalised user interactions while prioritising data privacy.

Meta, the tech conglomerate known for its extensive social media platforms, is enhancing its AI chatbot capabilities on WhatsApp, a popular messaging application with a global user base. Earlier in the year, Meta introduced an AI chatbot to WhatsApp, allowing users to interact with AI similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. This integration enabled users to ask questions and receive answers directly in the app, facilitating easier access to information without the need to switch to other applications.
