Inaugural NeuroX Conference Set to Transform Workplace Diversity in New Jersey
New Brunswick, New Jersey – The inaugural NeuroX Conference, a pioneering event aimed at enhancing understanding and inclusion of neurodiverse individuals in the workplace, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the Heldrich Hotel and Conference Center. Spearheaded by Drew Peloso, the conference aims to highlight the significant contributions neurodivergent individuals can bring to company culture and the bottom line.
Drew Peloso, the event’s organiser, emphasised the importance of collective effort in bringing the conference to fruition. He expressed deep gratitude to various supporters who have played vital roles in making this event possible. Among them is Jose Valesco from the Autism Society of America, who previously led the renowned Autism@Work programme at SAP, and Aimee Sprung, Microsoft’s representative on the New Jersey AI Task Force. Lauren MacCauliffe, an accomplished neurodivergent designer from 7Magnolia, was instrumental in the design and visual execution of the project, incorporating her unique perspectives throughout. Peloso also acknowledged key state leaders such as Mike Renna of South Jersey Industries and Tim Sullivan of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority for their leadership and support.

Furthermore, attendees will gain insights into how New Jersey’s Departments of Labour & Workforce Development, alongside Higher Education, are collaborating to enhance the skills of neurodivergent individuals while equipping businesses to expand neurodiversity hiring.
The conference will also mark the launch of the NeuroX Network. This initiative is designed to increase employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals by fostering connections and providing essential resources to businesses eager to embrace a more inclusive workforce.
