The screenings took place on the 24th and 25th of October, targeting over 50 underprivileged women who received free access to advanced healthcare services that they might not have ordinarily been able to afford.
The screenings employed cutting-edge, AI-driven thermal screening technology developed by Niramai. This innovative method represents a pivotal shift from the traditional mammography process, offering a radiation-free and pain-free alternative. By utilising infrared technology, this new screening technique is able to detect subtle abnormalities in breast tissue without the discomfort and radiation exposure associated with mammograms. For women requiring further analysis, on-site breast ultrasounds were also provided by skilled technicians from MASSH Hospital, ensuring a thorough evaluation process.
